How the budget is calculated
Spendable = max(0, gold − reserve). Affordable attempts = floor(spendable ÷ entered cost). This assumes the same gold cost for each attempt.
Enter your gold balance and the price currently displayed at the Blacksmith. Set aside money for castle repairs, then see how many attempts fit at that same price.
Use the cost displayed for the specific piece or recipe. Recalculate whenever the price changes; this tool treats every entered attempt as the same cost.
Calculation values stay in this browser. Results count affordable attempts, including failed attempts; they do not predict successful upgrades.

Honing also consumes a matching whetstone. Crafting consumes recipe materials. A gold budget does not check whether you have those materials.
Honing success falls at higher levels, and a failed attempt from +5 can downgrade a piece. The count does not forecast an ending level or a gear rarity.
It counts attempts affordable at the single price you enter, after protecting your reserve. It also shows unused gold and the shortfall for a chosen target.
Enter the new displayed cost and remaining balance. A fixed-cost calculation cannot add a sequence of different prices.
