Pixel Lineage: Legendary Powers: Triggers and Build Synergies
Understand power rarity and duplicate rules, compare Energy and survival effects, and match status-based damage bonuses to your actual kit.
Pixel Lineage Legendary Powers appear on Legendary and Secret gear, with one power per piece in any slot. A useful power supports an action or condition your build already uses; equipping the same power twice counts only once, so two matching names do not double the effect.
The gameplay and castle walkthrough provides equipment context; the table below explains the specific power triggers.
Build around a trigger you can actually use
| Power | Effect | When to consider it |
|---|---|---|
| Surge | Two extra starting Energy | An opening skill is otherwise too expensive |
| Mana Tide | One Energy every third turn | A build needs recurring resources |
| Overcharge | 3+ Energy skills gain 25% damage and refund one Energy | Expensive skills already drive your plan |
| Soulfeast | Finishes heal 12% max HP and give one Energy | Several foes offer finishing opportunities |
| Bulwark | Opening barrier worth 20% max HP | Early incoming pressure is the problem |
| Evergreen | Heal 3% max HP at each turn start | Repeated recovery supports longer fights |
| Shatter | 25% more hit damage against chilled foes | Your kit reliably applies Chill |
| Pyre | 20% more hit damage against burning foes | Burn is already part of the build |
| Glass Cannon | 25% more damage; 15% more incoming hit damage | You can afford the survival tradeoff |
| Purity | 35% turn-start chance to cleanse a harmful status | Harmful statuses repeatedly disrupt the plan |
This is a selection of useful comparison examples, rather than a claim that one effect wins every encounter. Opening Energy, recurring Energy, a finishing-blow refund, and damage against a status all require different combat plans.
Combine a condition with its payoff
Shatter rewards attacking chilled foes; Pyre rewards hitting burning foes. Those powers make more sense when your skills or other equipment already apply the required status. Without that setup, the conditional damage does not behave like an unconditional attack increase.
Overcharge fits skills costing at least three Energy. Soulfeast fits fights where you can finish foes. Mana Tide fits battles long enough to reach recurring third turns. Read the trigger first and then decide whether your usual actions activate it often enough to justify the gear slot.
Do not pay twice for the same named power
Duplicate powers count once even when they appear on different pieces. A second copy may still have useful ordinary stats, but the duplicated power is not an additional effect. Compare the whole loadout before replacing a piece that supplied a different benefit.
Because a power can appear in any gear slot, you have more than one place to find an effect that complements the build. That flexibility does not make every Legendary piece a direct improvement over your current equipped piece.
Weigh survival costs and mode rules
Glass Cannon increases dealt damage by 25% but also increases incoming hit damage by 15%. The downside matters if the hero is already struggling to finish a route. A sustain or barrier effect can be a better next improvement when the bottleneck is survival.
Arena applies build stats and Legendary Powers at half strength. Do not read the full ordinary effect as a direct prediction of an Arena duel. Keep the mode's normalization in view when evaluating the same loadout for different activities.
