Pixel Lineage: Race Tier List for Survival and Class Fit
Compare race healing, defense, class synergies, and listed roll chances to decide which useful passive to keep before spending spins.
For solo survival in Pixel Lineage, this race tier list favors repeatable recovery and useful defensive bonuses. Tideborn and Nightborne receive S grades, but a Stonekin Fist hero or a Dwarf starter can be worth keeping instead of spending spins to chase a 0.7% result.
This gameplay video shows the interface and turn-based rhythm that the following choices use.
Compare survival first, then your class
These editorial grades prioritize keeping a hero alive through ordinary adventures. They do not rank rarity as power by itself. Damage, class compatibility, and progression benefits remain useful, but a passive that earns more gold does not solve the same problem as healing through another turn.
| Grade | Race | Listed chance | Relevant benefit |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | Tideborn | 0.7% | Heal 5% max HP at the start of every turn |
| S | Nightborne | 0.7% | Heal 15% of attack damage, capped at 7% max HP per move |
| A | Seraph | 0.7% | Opening party protection and stronger healing for two rounds |
| A | Stonekin | 8.0% | 20 extra max HP and 15% stronger Fist attacks |
| A | Dwarf | 8.7% | 15 extra max HP and 6% more Defense |
| A | Celestine | 1.4% | Crit, dodge and Magic bonuses |
| B | Ashborn | 9.4% | 8% more max HP and 6% more Attack |
| B | Sylvan | 7.2% | Nature damage bonus and a fighting, healing Sylph |
| B | Vesper | 5.8% | Energy reserve, magic and ability evasion |
| B | Slime | 6.5% | Blunt resistance and post-battle recovery, with fire vulnerability |
| B | Human | 37.7% | 10% extra battle XP and class mastery |
| C | Goblin | 8.7% | Gold and bonus-loot improvements |
| C | Mushroom | 4.3% | 16% chance to poison an attacker when hit |
Keep a strong fit without chasing the rarest roll
Stonekin is particularly attractive for Fist because its attack bonus directly names Fist attacks. Dwarf is a simple defensive fit across classes. Human supports leveling and class mastery, so keeping it is reasonable when your immediate goal is progression rather than maximizing a combat passive.
The listed probabilities are rounded individual values. A 0.7% race can be exceptional without being a sensible requirement for a first hero. Your current roll's benefit is certain while the next spin's outcome is not; set a stopping point before replacing a useful passive.
Conditions change the order
Seraph's opening effect helps every ally, making it more valuable in a party than a strictly self-focused comparison suggests. Slime's fire weakness matters when you face fire damage, so its recovery should not be treated as an unconditional defense upgrade. Nightborne needs attacks to deal damage for its healing, whereas Tideborn's recovery occurs at the start of its turns.
Goblin moves up when gold and loot are the real objective. Sylvan moves up for a Nature-oriented plan. Read the effect against your class and next activity; use this survival ranking to choose priorities, not to reject every race below S.
