Pixel Lineage: How to Get and Rank an Oath
Repair the Shrine of Oaths, choose one active power, and use Knowledge toward rank-3 awakening while weighing the selected effect’s downside.
Get a Pixel Lineage oath by repairing and relighting the Shrine of Oaths in the castle for 350 gold, then swearing one oath. Use Knowledge to rank it, with rank 3 awakening the power; consider the effect and any downside before committing resources to that plan.
The castle-building walkthrough helps locate the shrine service before you repair it and choose an oath.
Open the shrine with a useful goal
The repair fee opens the oath service. It is separate from the Knowledge used for ranking afterward. Arrive with a combat purpose in mind: easier defensive timing, more starting Energy, a recovery safeguard, or a particular offensive tradeoff.
Only one oath is active at a time. Do not budget around combining several oath rows into one hero. Compare the available choice with the hero's existing class actions and the obstacle in the next adventure.
| Stage | Requirement or result |
|---|---|
| Repair and relight | 350 gold opens the Shrine of Oaths |
| Swear an oath | Choose the single active power |
| Rank the oath | Spend Knowledge |
| Reach rank 3 | Awaken the power |
Choose an effect whose condition fits the build
Steady Hand favors defensive execution and Energy recovery from successful blocks or dodges. Wellspring favors starting resources and recovery from defeated foes. Second Breath provides a once-per-battle low-health recovery. These powers solve different problems, so start with the one your hero actually faces.
A damage-oriented oath can include a downside. Glass Blade grants Attack and Magic but reduces maximum HP. Bulwark improves Defense and health while reducing Attack and Magic. Read both sides before interpreting a positive number as a simple upgrade.
Rank with Knowledge rather than expecting the final power immediately
The oath ranking system awakens at rank 3. Keep that milestone separate from merely opening the building or swearing the oath. When a build recommendation depends on the developed power, ranking is part of the plan.
Check the game's displayed ranking requirement for the next purchase. Use the actual Knowledge cost rather than assuming a fixed price from the repair fee, which is gold and belongs to a different step.
Let the next fight test the fit, not your entire budget
Choose an oath that supports the actions you already use. If recovery is the recurring weakness, do not automatically reduce maximum HP just to increase offense. A fitting power makes a clear plan easier to execute; it does not remove the need for equipment, timing and sensible difficulty choices.
